So to take advantage of these new POPs, you can just change your trunk settings to use your new preferred POP. (along with changing the Edge strategy in Flowroute.) But previously, using sip.flowroute.com in the trunk settings, with FreePBX, I do not have any specific firewall setting for this, as the FreePBX documentation says that you do not need specific settings, as the firewall will be updated with the proper settings according to the entry in the trunk.

So, to make sure the PBX is setup properly to utilize all of the new POPs, would you add in all of the IP addresses/IP Ranges on the page below to the firewall? And if so, which zone would be best?

*** I use IP authentication, not registration for this specific example

@fuznutz04 you cannot use ip auth with random public ip addresses and expect it to always work.

Specify the pop you need. And make sure it is listed.

Right, my preferred pop is listed in the trunk. I am just uncertain how their failover POPs work. For example, if I have the NJ pop in my Trunk, but the NJ POP becomes unavailable, on the Flowroute side, failover occurs, and traffic is rerouted to another POP. However, in FreePBX, do I need to do anything to list the failover POP IPs in the firewall?
