For $12 bucks you have some user upgrades to do.
LOL

@mattspeller These allow you to boot m.2 off sata interface instead of m.2? if your mobo doesnt support m.2 or NVME boot(pre 6th gen Intel)?
-
@momurda this particular adapter "Only supports B or B/M KEY SOCKET 2 sata transmission protocol m. 2 NGFF SSD!"

M2 isn't something it supports, that's just the form factor - like 2.5" vs 3.5" etc.
NVME boot is in the bios as an option - it's neat but not necessary (maybe for the PCIe ones?)
PCIe VS SATA is what we're concerned about here - all my M2 SSDs are SATA based.

The fastest USB drives you'll ever use! I grabbed an m2 SSD and m2 to USB3 adapter, and that thing felt like an internal drive when booting to a live OS from it.

USB3 certainly helps in that regard!

I'll send some cash, bitcoin, litecoin or whatever if you decide to sell them cheaply to ML users.

Plan A is to try out some of the 2.5" adapters. If those suck I will definitely be selling a bunch.

How long does it take you to pay for the difference of drive with voltage savings. I think that is a myth especially considering how unprofitable mining has become.

If you're worried about the cost of electricity in your mining rig, you need to quit or upgrade it.
