Quiet Friday... Is anyone working today?
-
I had to work late last night and had a busy morning. I'm around now.
-
Its already Saturday here pretty early but i am here already at work.
Yesterday is pretty busy -
It was a quiet day everywhere today.

I was busy today doing lots of things! Spent a large part of it at Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch, TX. Getting things in order to go back and get my associates, and in turn, my BBA MIS, which is Management Information Systems. You can thank yourself @Minion-Queen (although you already know) for pointing that degree program out to me. I figure two years at DCCCD and then on to my last two at UT Dallas!
-
Sorry, I was actually busy doing work on Friday. A very long-delayed project took off on Thursday.
-
I had a busy day of work and then drive to Utica at 9:30 at night.
-
Sorry. Been a bit preoccupied.

I've always wondered if Toastmasters would be any good. I know what it is but have never seen it in action. I present often at other things so kind of ignored it because I get more mileage from other venues.

I'm already a rock solid speaker, as you can attest to. I just enjoy public speaking and don't get to do it very often. I thought this might be a chance for me to do a little refining? Maybe? We'll see. I've been speaking in front of crowds of 100+ since 5. No lie or exaggeration there. So I'm pretty comfortable speaking to a crowd. Used to blow away professors in high school.
Heck, at 5th grade D.A.R.E graduation, I was told by several people the MAYOR of our little town couldn't hold a candle to me. Yeah. In sixth grade, when I didn't win the Oral Pexton award again, I was told by all the 6th grade teachers that I actually was selected but they were told I couldn't win it two years in a row. LOL
