They certainly have a long roll out process for these things.
I've been dabbling this week with Teams and Planner. Neither of which is really ready for prime time.
We use Teams, but we are small, and it works well for us. Plus it's included in our $5/month subscription, so why not.
Planner on the other hand.... I want to like it, I really do. But you're right, its just missing too much and is not ready yet.
I really wish MS would stop releasing all of these different, almost useful products. Just because you release many products doesn't make the 365 subscription better, it just makes it more cluttered. </rant>
My issues with Teams is that I went though yesterday and created a Team, set all the stuff up. Went home later that night, and it was all friggin gone. POOF! So set it all back up again, and sure enough it was gone again.
Now, it could be me. Because the interaction between Teams and Planner is kludgy at best. And I think if you delete the Plan that it auto creates for each team, it also deletes the team.
But you need like four actual wizards and some goat blood to get it set up correctly.

I've not even seen Planner yet. WTF is that?
It's like Trello or Asana.
But not well done, I presume.
I actually like it.
I am sure the other products are slightly better, but it's included, and integrated with O365.

I can't stand any product relating to O365. It has been garbage since day 1 imo.

How do you really feel, though?

Hey emojis are back. Did I miss that?

No it's just more annoying to create them now. . .

They don't charge "extra", but one way or another customers always pay for the products.

My brother just started an O365 tenant. He wanted a breakdown on every product in detail, so he could see if anything would be applicable to his business, outside of Bookings and some other stuff he went with O365 for.... it took 30 minutes to get through the lot.

Windows Server 2016 still isn't finished.... would you expect this to be?
(they only now put S2D back into the latest beta or whatever it's called lol)

We're using teams and it's been ok so far. Only a team of 5. Handy to chat when not in the same office, or to leave messages. Also to chat when on the phone and don't want the other person to hear you shout "they're a numpty"

Not had a look at staff hub yet, it's in the Todo list for Feb. Hopefully they will improve it by then
