Firefox Quantum Has Released

I prefer Firefox because
- Firefox still lets me see SSL certs from the address bar.
- Firefox lets me decide is I want to be able to execute
jnlpfiles or not.

I tried that addon a few months ago and it didn't work. Editing the .css file is what did it.

I never tried it last time. Did not see it. So I edited the
.css. This time I tried the plugin and it works for ML. Have not been on other sites yet. -

** Click the Security tab
** Click the View Certificate button.
Not sure what you mean about jnlp, because when I click to view iDRAC console (as one example), it has me downlaod a .jnlp file. I choose whether or not to open it. If I want to open it, I select the program I want to use... which I usually use IcedTea.

I know of 2 ways to semi easily get to that screen. but that is not the point. They took it away from any type of normal user view. Because they know better than I.

Odd, this worked here.
It works fine in Firefox. It is Chrome that blocks it.

Oh okay, sorry. Yes, same issue there. FF definitely beating Chrome for me there.

FF was automatically updated to 57 on Fedora27. I tried it out and seems very noticibly faster than Chromium.

It finally released to the F25 repos too, so I have it on my desktop.

I really like being able to send tabs to other devices. I know chrome has had the ablity to open tabs on other devices for a while... but I like the way FF handles that now.

That's a pretty cool feature.
It works better than both Google's and Microsoft's, IMO.

I've been using FFQ as my default browser on my Windows, Phone, and Linux devices the last couple days.
It's way better than the pre-FFquantum. So much that I favor it over Chromium now. It was easy to import completely everything from Chromium/Chrome to FF.
I don't have that "dark text box" issue like I had on Korora, on my Fedora 27 + Gnome 3.26 laptop. But even if I did, the new FF totally beats the Chromes.

With every new release of Firefox, it seems closer and closer to Chrome, to the point I wonder why am i still using Firefox ?
