Firefox Quantum Has Released
-
The biggest overhaul of Mozilla's FireFox in a very long time, Firefox 57 "Quantum" releases today and changes major parts of how FF works including the handling of CSS, on screen page draws, and how the GPU is leveraged. It's a huge release and rumour is that it may be the lowest memory utilization of any major browser now.

Installed. We'll see if I notice any difference.. the colors are obviously different... but meh.
-
The tabs look different, fonts are a bit different, fit more Bookmarks on the toolbar, Taskbar icon is different. Cat theme still the same.
Does seem to load things faster -
Already a thread on this somewhere.
-
not a fan of the default dark theme in the tabs.. looking for how to change.

You can the light theme. You have three default options: Default, Light, and Dark.
-
I just found that Synced tabs can show in a list down the side, pinned to the side.. that could be useful.

Just downloaded, I'm very impressed, you can defiantly see the speed increase compared to Chrome. I quite like the new look as well.
-
Set as default browser for a week so I can actually form a real opinion.
-
I think the default theme is ok, not too dark:

Did the same. I'm very pleased at how much faster it is then even Chrome was.
-
I may give this a try tonight and see how it does. Firefox 57 crashes on me on a consistent basis.
-
They moved the reload button.

It's it not F5?
I'm sure that works, but the button in the UI moved from the right side of the URL bar to the left.

@dashrender Where it should be. I mean, where it could be.
edit> you can move it through Customize if you liked the old way -
