In retrospect, I'm kinda surprised that the DVR hasn't killed more TV. I guess the shows are strong enough draw without the added conversations about them afterwords.
I tend to binge watch shows after the season is over, so discussing about the shows is useless to me. Can't stand those cliff hangers or part one of two episodes.
Same here. If I am going to watch something, it will always be binged. Otherwise, I won't bother. Waiting a week between shows is annoying and I forget what I was even watching.
-
Remember back when you had no choice but to wait a week between shows? It was like the dark ages.
-
Yeah but some shows, like True Detective Season 1, just wouldn't have been the same binge watched IMHO.

Right, it would have been way better

As someone who struggles for normal television to even qualify as interesting, binging is one of the few mechanisms that I have to make it worth sitting down for.

Plus with some below average shows is actually enjoyable when binge watching it.

I think its a boxed wine vs bottled wine thing. Or Bourbon vs Scotch maybe?
Wait, maybe Seagrams vs a 7 & 7 is the best comparison?

Boxed wine is better if you want the wine to be properly maintained. Bottled it to make people feel better about it. One is about the quality, one is about the emotional response.

Just like an aluminum can is a far better storage and transportation vessel for beer than a glass bottle. Glad they started putting good beer into cans, removes some of the stigma.

My Coke Zero tastes better in a plastic cup with ice than in the can, or any other cup.

Exactly. Seals better, keeps more light out.

And you can take it to the pool, the beach, or anywhere else glass bottles are a no-no.

Easier on logistics. Glass is so fragile. Keeps costs down.

Up your box wine game by removing the box and carrying the bag around. Bag wine is where it's at.

Up that game by replacing the wine with bourbon. bagged bourbon is the real game in town.

Too bad its already after Halloween. There is some scary stuff that one could probably do with red wine in a bag.
