Hello everybody I have a computer that when I am visiting a specific website "dealertrack.com" I am getting a long running script only on internet explorer using windows 10 as the operating system. I have whitelisted the site from the AV and also have reinstalled IE. Any ideas of what could it be ?

Might be that you are using IE.

I say that slightly tongue in cheek, but not really. IE doesn't work with many modern scripts and can easily be the issue here.

It was working fine as of 3 days ago and now it doesn't and it only affects one specific user, everybody else from the organization is fine. Is there a specific tool that you would recommend using that I could diagnose, it and confirm if that is the case.

              Yeah, Google Chrome. Or Firexox.

Could the code have changed? If that isn't your own website, one would assume that it is being updated all of the time.

Site works fine for me in Opera with uBlock Origin and Ghostery installed. Block the script and the site loads right up.

Is there an advantage running both of these products at the same time?

Ghostery blocks trackers and other non-ad items. Makes browsing much nicer, and it's easy to disable if it breaks a web page.

I guess if the issue on a site is a script, something like No Script might be better.

Right, but I was thinking that uBlock Origin did the same thing. I've been running Privacy Badger for a good while with some website issues, so I'm always looking for a better alternative.

I highly recommend uBlock. When configured correctly, it blocks ALL ads, those annoying little FB/twitter share buttons, etc. It even blocks ads on Pandora.

I've been meaning to check out Privacy Badger, I've heard good things.

I use Pi-hole and Adguard. It's so effective it even blocks ad videos in games.

I love that it blocks things on my mobile devices, too. So handy.
