AMD64, not x86. No 32bit options for Chromebooks.

Looks like other model boards will be released at some point with more RAM / CPU options.

They seem to be promoting the self assembly as a benefit.

Of course, for that price and specs, you could just get a Chromebook and put Linux on it.
