Has anyone gotten Atom to work on centos7? I am really green to Linux and would like to know if I am barking up a squirrel-less tree? Thanks.

We have it running on RHEL 7 workstations. It should work fine.

Were you having issues getting it installed?

@travisdh1 I was, but I think that has more to do with lacking experience. There is a lot of stuff to learn. WHEW!!

Works good on Fedora. I like using it.

I use it on nearly everything but I never use CentOS as a desktop. What issue are you having?

@scottalanmiller I was following a training video about Chef. I mistakenly thought the instructor was using centos7, the OS he is using for the course is ubuntu. I provisioned a ubuntu vm and i am off to the races. I am new to containers and he is building containers that are centos7 images. Ignorance can be so painful. Thanks for everyone's patience.
