What's the worst technology ever invented?

An old comic, but definitely a good one Maybe I am just showing my age but I remember hooking up my 9 pin dot matrix printer to my Epson 8088 DOS-based computer and running a word processor called (I believe) First Choice. That was an adventure. That comic doesn't even begin to touch on that.

I don't remember if the C64 beat the 8088s to omarket or not, but WordStar on a Commodore 64... which ran from a Cassette tape.
