Awesome, I expect to be there. Always really fun. Hopefully the bats are there again this year. They seem to be getting less and less every year. White nose or whatever that disease is has been really impacting the regional bat populations. Would be sad if the Austin Congress St. Bridge bat population was affected by that. I know it Missouri it is causing huge issues.
The Austin bats are migratory though I thought. Last year was November and after most had gone was my understanding.
Probably go to Mexico to stay warm. Austin nights get chilly in the winter.
Yeah... first week of November last year it dipped all the way down into the low 70s at night. I should have brought a parka and insulated boots.
(It's still summer weather in Austin, day and night, at least through spiceworld. You might need 1 pair of not-shorts)
So, you're getting your kilt badge?
There's a kilt badge?

They are both badges for silly things.

It would be really nice if there was a "River Cruise" badge!

Wrong forum? Does this belong in SW?

Did you read the badge discussion above?

Was just talking to someone about the Scale booze cruise. Maybe I should crash the party on Wednesday, not like it takes a long time to drive to Austin.
The actual SW event, meh, not worth my time or money, even if I crashed it. Pretty much repeat repeat repeat from the last 5 years. Has anyone told them that yet another set of Powershell breakouts are not that interesting?
-
A wild PSX appears.
-
Only every once in a while.
Although going to Austin and crashing a party sounds like a wild PSX appearing situation.

Boss and I crashed AlienVault's party like 2 years ago. It was customer-only. Feel guilty? Not one bit.

I think mostly it is for non-customers to get to meet them.
