Not really... MS tried (continues to try, though I think they are finally about to give up on it) their "modern" apps platform. This wasn't apps designed for Windows Mobile that could also run on Windows desktop - it was still mostly desktop only... with some smattering of crossover here and there - as I understood it.

For MS they were trying to unify to disparate platforms. For Apple, it's process unification. Both platforms are already pretty close and ru the same code.

lol - I'm glad I'm only running three Windows 7 and one windows XP machine (and XP is on it's own little network).

lol - I'm glad I'm only running three Windows 7 and one windows XP machine (and XP is on it's own little network).
We''ve got mostly 2k8 stuff here that's affected, but none that allow RDP from off-site.
