Though, I didn't think Edge was their WISP equipment, thought that was mostly on the Unifi side?
Unifi is more the IT side. Edge is more the infra side.

Not really... MS tried (continues to try, though I think they are finally about to give up on it) their "modern" apps platform. This wasn't apps designed for Windows Mobile that could also run on Windows desktop - it was still mostly desktop only... with some smattering of crossover here and there - as I understood it.

For MS they were trying to unify to disparate platforms. For Apple, it's process unification. Both platforms are already pretty close and ru the same code.
