Sounds a bit like whiny app devs who chose the wrong toolkit and don't like that it is customizable or that its customization framework is lacking. End users choosing to use GTK features shouldn't be barred from using the system more or less as designed.

Huawei's Android replacement OS will start rolling out in June [Updated]

Updated 12:02 PM ET: Following this report, Huawei reached out to TechRadar to essentially debunk this story. There was apparently "confusion internally" about the new OS, meaning that it will not be launching in June. Instead, Huawei confirmed that HongMeng might be ready for a launch in China in late 2019 with an international release sometime in 2020.

Thanks for posting.. I wanted to comment and was busy at the time...

                                    So that article said this.....

                                    2478fd7a-1343-4bd1-b97d-4baef93cae17-image.png

WTF, how is this not a huge concern that someone can easily track where I have been based on this?

I mean it is not all that expensive to pay to get the info of the owner of a license plate.

Public records are out there already. without even going to dark web things like this are available.

Huawei: US blacklist will harm billions of consumers

A US move to put Huawei on a trade blacklist "sets a dangerous precedent" that will harm billions of consumers, the firm's top legal officer said.

Speaking at a press conference, Song Liuping said the trade ban would also "directly harm" American companies and affect jobs.
Washington recently added Huawei to a list of companies that US firms cannot trade with unless they have a licence.

If Microsoft goes this way, then eventually you will be paying monthly to access a windows desktop on azure..you can see what they are up it stands out a mile...

An exclusive look at Intel’s wild gaming laptop prototype

Intel’s Honeycomb Glacier is an attempt to bring two screens to the gaming audience — a 15.6-inch 1080p primary panel and a 12.3-inch 1920 x 720 secondary screen — in a way that complements, instead of distracting from, their games.

Snipe-IT 4.7.2 has released, and while there are some interesting changes there is also a bug that doesn't allow any assets to be checked out.

                                            Don't update at this time.
