Just installed BitWarden, we'll see if it's better than LP and then worth changing.

Did they give you a premium trial? It says free trial when I signed up, but now they are asking me to pay for premium right off the bat.

Looks like I need to investigate BitWarden this weekend.

Nope - it said
100% free (this is not one of those free TRIAL things, this is 100% free)
I assume this means the paid features are simply disabled.

importing my LP info was easy. It's installed in FF, Chrome and iPhone.

DL was easy as well. I like the fact that they let you copy and paste the the contents of the CSV instead of actually upload. DLP isn't tripped as easily with copy and paste.

I am not sure I understand the difference between paid and free? Is it basically just the number of users?

Correct. The number of users on the hosted install.

I still use LastPass as it is still a lower cost than Dashlane last time I checked. My renew is next month so I should look into it also.
I hate Dashlane because of shitty sales communications. The dude was spamming me 4 times a day with emails. Fuck that shit.
Question about Bitwarden. Do shared items have to be shared to people on the same account? I do not want to have both a Work and personal account unless their app also understands that and allows multiple logins. Neither Dashlane or LastPass do that though.

I have used Dashlane for years personally and always liked it. We have a few people on LastPass at work but I don't like it as much but it still does the job. I didn't article yet though so hope they made the list.
What do you like about Dashlane compare to the rest?

Right, what justifies the extreme cost compared to others?

@dafyre may i know why u change from ur owned hosting to theirs?
Mainly for some sharing features to share passwords with other family members, and not having to worry about my own server getting hacked and such.

Not crazy about BitWarden so far... It doesn't work as well as dashlane for me. It just missed recognizing 3 websites forms and does not even offer me the chance to save the passwords.

UI and ease of use for me. It is very streamlined.

That's odd. I've used it on Firefox and Chrome (as well as with Android) without any issues like that. It's actually better at field recognition then LastPass is from my usage.

Well, maybe my import from DL was pointless... It doesnt seem to recognize anything automatically that I imported from DL.
Everything imported into the vault, but it isn't making the correlation of URLs for imported entries.
-
I should mention that I imported my usernames & passwords from a KeePass 2 file. I didn't have the URL right in most of my sites, so when I copy/pasted the info into the login box, Bitwarden has saved the password and URL every time for me.
The exception, I've noticed is sites that have 2-step login (ie: username on one page, password on the next).
