Softphone for Linux???

@dustinb3403 probably yes but it's not open source
Does open source matter in this case? You asked for a softphone for Linux.
There is Linphone, Zoiper and likely a dozen others. If you need specific functionality, and for it to be open source, and for it to be for Linux only Linphone may be the option.

@travisdh1 line phone??
actually it's bit tricky and I really unable to setup VoIP account on this also there isn't have call recording feature, if it' there then call should be record from the time of ringing! -

If you need to record all audio from the computer (including the ringing), use any audio recording solution. Rather than putting this requirement onto the softphone.

@dustinb3403 no actually it's not matter but some customer want free...and as Providing open source solution we should try for it

Zoiper is free, Linphone is free. Free doesn't need to be open source.
And Open Source doesn't have to be free.

In Linphone goto Help -> Account Assistant, click Next button, Enter account information (username, password, domain, and proxy if needed), then click apply. Should be good to go.

@dustinb3403 Yes man but no recording feature ?

You don't need Ubuntu/Mate, just something you can install Linphone on.
Also:
-
@travisdh1 Great I'll Check, As i mentioned earlier they want local recording of VoIP calls like Eyebeam does on Windows it'll solve the problem !

It's already not free, assuming they are paying you for installing and finding solution, etc.
-
@dashrender Yes... agree

Something is wrong there, with those filled in it should just work. That's the "pre-existing SIP account" option? I used that yesterday and it worked like that.

The app doesn't know the difference until it tries to connect.

Linphone 3.6.1 for Ubuntu 17.04 and Fedora 26 is old.
Linphone version is 4.1.1
In order to get the latest version for Linux, you will have to use Flatpak.http://www.linphone.org/technical-corner/linphone/downloads
