Yealink CP960 - non-owner review

This phone is freaking slick looking!
It comes with 2 "built in" wireless mic's and can be pair'd via Bluetooth as well.
-
It comes with built in WiFi so there would be no additional need to have an Ethernet cord in the middle of your conference table.
That's pretty awesome.
-
I want one.
-
Single SIP account, but how many businesses would have more than a single account attached to a device at a time?
-
If anyone wants to give me one to try out, I'd be happy to take it off of their hands

It's such a sharp looking phone!

5 way conference call functionality, I'm assuming that means from the phone its self you can conference 5 telephone numbers.
This is outside of any conference service you may have. That's pretty nice.

That's not very interesting. That's a "for companies so small that they don't have a PBX" feature. If you have a PBX, you get unlimited conference calling capacity from that. No need for the phone to do it.

But in terms of a basic feature it's nice to have. "Oh I'll just conference everyone in" granted it's for the SOHO and MP businesses.

I talked about this device at MangoCon because I received the email blast that morning.

Yeah that part I noticed. But if you didn't have PoE wifi would work just fine. Assuming you have power there.

Was this the talk that @DustinB3403 slept through?

Possibly, but the flu that someone brought to the convention made me want to keep my distance. . .
