Sodium Helpdesk: Due Date Set at Required
A DueDate is not possible as a requirement for opening a ticket. Often this information doesn't exist or if it does, is not available at the time of ticket creation. This forces most tickets to have a false date filled in just to be able to open the ticket. This is, of course, made worse by the fact that the field doesn't work so it fails even when you've picked a date.
You can type it in, but this doesn't change the fact that a forced date is not appropriate.
Forced status on duedate has been removed. Just waiting on a release to be rolled out.
