Your morning routine
-
My regular routine is up by 5-5:15am. At the gym by 5:30am-ish. Do my workout with enough time left over to get in 10-15 minutes of medium cardio. At work by 7am-ish (depends on traffic), take a shower there/dress, then start working by 7:30am latest. Meanwhile, I have a plant-based protein shake, an hour later something small to eat for breakfast, and have some long awaited coffee.
For the past few weeks and next few months... I'm still trying to figure out something that works. (away for 3 months) No regular routine here yet, but I do see light at the end of the tunnel.

TV, stay in bed for 5 minutes or so, brush teeth, get dressed, coffee, more morning news, leave for work.
-
I am not a morning person - so the morning routine is pretty much a long period of time fuming and wanting to go back to bed. I have never liked mornings, even during a period of time I don't acknowledge where I was required to do so...
Since working with NTG however, it's up and online (mostly) by 8am, coffee, poptart/begal/something to eat. And since I generally don't have a life outside the house - I'm here till 8pm and glance monitoring till 11-12 when I finally crash out.

I prepare my clothing (ironing or whatever needs to take place) and shower the night before. That way when I wake up I can just throw my clothes on, brush my hair and leave.
-
Why not be even more efficient and go to bed in your clothes?

I never feel clean if I shower the night before.
I get up as late as possible, shower, clothes, out the door, sit in traffic for an hour.

Same here. I have a friend who does and I argue with him constantly.
His take is that he can't stand sleeping dirty. I don't really care. I am usually asleep in seconds. Even if I am covered in sweat and suntan lotion.

I feel fine but I also sleep with the AC on full blast. It's like 60 degrees in my room at night. I barely sweat
-
@wirestyle22 Oh, I keep my room nice and cold for optimal sleeping, but I still feel dirty the next morning.

I thought I was extreme at 73 degrees.

I literally prefer freezing temps. I once woke up covered in snow that wasn't melting.

If I'm that dirty I take a shower before bed and again when I wake up.

Oh lord - we couldn't have my house be that warm, my wife would never sleep. 68 or less for her when possible.

We PREFER it cold. But don't want to kill the AC unit.

How is 78 during the day, 73 at night.

Well you are in Texas, so that's a significant difference. At night it's about 73 outside during the hottest part of the summer (of course some nights are more)... so getting down to 68 isn't as much of a chore compared to you - getting from night time of 88 to 68, etc.
-
We have two AC units and live in a smaller apartment so its not hard to get down to whatever we want. I am missing central air though

730am: Kettle on, grind beans, shit, shower, kettle + beans into coffee press, dress, coffee into thermos, ass into truck -> work for 9am (8:30 most days, because early >> late, but am often late)
