Xfinity data limits

Just received warning that I am about to hit 1TB of traffic for the month. I have no idea how much I have downloaded, but I know I have uploaded almost 900GB of files to my Nextcloud instance.

1TB limit doesn't seem realistic. . . is this personal or business?

Assuming this has been in place since I moved here, I have never hit the warning before in 2 years. I dislike how there is no breakout of the usage though. I mean, I know what I did, and why I used this much data, but still.

It was funny until I realized you're only halfway through the month. That sucks.
-
The only have 6 months of history visible.

And you graciously get 2 months of overage.

I also have Crashplan to reseed. So I should make sure I get it all in this month.

$10/50 GB, damn 1 TG = $200... Not sure if that is good or bad?

This got my Sister in Law over Christmas. They didn't even know that they had a cap and then they got a Steam video gaming system and went through their entire download in two days.

A steam box would not come anywhere close to hitting 1TB of traffic in 2 days.
Those things cannot even store that much data.
-
Any IPS that would send me such email would promptly receive a phone call to disconnect the service. Data caps are just about the worst thing ISP can do to its customers. I would look for another provider immediately, and have them put no data caps in writing.
Btw, 1TB is nothing, I can blow through that in little over 3 hours, half that if I upload stuff too.
