someone else have the feeling that there are no big changes?? I talks from the side of a computer user.
It's only me or anyone else has freezes copying big data throught usb?? and this hasn't change in years....What changes would an end user really expect to see from the kernel?

The improvements to hot swapping drives is a big item. Glad that is in there.

I've never seen that happen.

@scottalanmiller I've experienced it on Suse/opensuse and ubuntu in low end motherboards, not servers.

You sure it is a kernel issue then? Maybe it is the hardware in question?

@scottalanmiller maybe is hw, or a problem with generic kernels, never tried to compile a personalizaed kernel :?

Servers wouldn't run on custom kernels, but they would rarely have USB either. Maybe that is all that it is, no USB on servers

So no USB keyboard or mouse..... while I get out of band management, this seems drastic.

Been decades since I had a keyboard on a server
