The Windows Phone is Unofficially Dead

The end is in site and it might be as soon as the end of the quarter, analyst believe that Microsoft is targeting ending the Windows Phone's run in just a few months. The product never caught on, doesn't make money and pulls the company in many directions when those resources could be better used elsewhere.

About time. Having that phone limping along has done nothing for Microsoft's fortunes, nor has it helped the mobile industry.
