Windows Desktop and Office 365 Move to Six Month Rapid Release Schedule

Following the release schedule style of Fedora and Ubuntu, Windows desktops are now going to release every six months (roughly March and September) with support for each release extending for eighteen months. So staying supported will mean keeping systems up to date. Microsoft is not the only one talking about the lack of value in long term support releases these days.
