Normally these are done on weekdays as it is very hard to get people to be able to come out on a weekend. But given the rarity of the event, a weekend isn't totally out of the question.

Is this going to be an after work thing again?
I'd almost prefer it starting earlier if you are going to have speakers and stuff.

Maybe some car pools or something could be arranged for people coming from further afield?

I wish that I could make this one, I made it to the last Mango Meetup in NYC two years ago. @JaredBusch and @pchiodo made it out to that one. And @kkreutzer too!

The DFW group will have met weeks ahead of this one, so that will help get the word out and round up attention. NYC and DFW are really good locations for getting interest roused for meetings like this. So this could work out really well.

Depending on my schedule, I might journey over. Might be in Japan most of June. Not sure yet.

That would be awesome. I can't make this one, sadly. But should be doing the DFW June meetup. Going to push hard to DFW to get three in meetups before the June MangoCon event.

Hrm, want to add a 3rd person? I don't mind day trips, but driving in New York City/Jersey City still gives me nightmares from my truck driving days. Yes, I know it's just a mental thing, but it's how I am.
