Zimbra Failing to Start
-
Getting this error when attempting to start:
$ zmcontrol start Host vfr-lnx-zimbra Unable to start TLS: SSL connect attempt failed error:14090086:SSL routines:ssl3_get_server_certificate:certificate verify failed when connecting to ldap master.
But the logs are useless. They tell me nothing at all.

Hi,i solved it by changing the ldap master url from IP to the hostname of the ldap server.
-
This ticket (although closed) seems to suggest that the use of the FQDL is required.

I'll check on that.

For the moment, just starting the components manually rather than trying to use the automatic starter seems to have done it. Weird.
-
Worked on this and by starting the individual components it fired up and received mail again. Will look more tomorrow

It's already the URL. No luck there.

FQDN is what I am using

Got it figured out. The SSL Cert HAS to have the FQDN of the site AND of the host. Must be both.
