@phlipelder Yeah, the first real adult enabled movie like that I remember was Shrek - thinks a kid would NEVER catch. Driving down Rodeo drive and such.
Cars was another one that had a good number of image and mention references too.

We set up a 7 day free trial of Paramount+, so we've been watching a good bit of their content. The new South Park post covid special is hilarious, as is the Reno 911 Search for QAnon. And since my gf is a Stephen King superfan, we watched their version of the Stand... good stuff, probably going to spring for a year.

I guess they did for the most part. My gf liked it, but she pointed out some things that were different from the book (not necessarily bad). I enjoyed it.

No, this is just the city house. Will be moving out once we build our new house here on the beach. We have the land and the architect is designing the house. But this is just our rental in the city so that we have our own place downtown.
