@scottalanmiller pretty sure they made it look that way on purpose. But it is a bit jarring, took me a few minutes to get used to it.
Wait a second - we're talking about the new Spiderman movie... yeah, there are a lot of scenes where holo-projectors are in use - they are part of the story... so yeah, they could easily do this thing Scott doesn't like, or at least this thing he's noticing on purpose so the audience can be clued in on the fact that holograms are being used.

True. I hadn't considered that... I was mostly thinking it was simply a stylistic choice by the director (or whomever). Definitely liked the movie, and, by the end, the whole visual style.

@Dashrender @RojoLoco
No, That is Far from Home. @scottalanmiller claimed to be complaining about Homecoming. -

Hardly a claim, I really complained.

I complained that the rendering and motion of the people looks like the Sims.

That seems like an odd choice to make it look like they had no budget.

You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about since they were not talking about what you were talking about

Well I know what I'm talking about, if they are confused, that's unrelated.

Not when it’s already been called out that you two are not talking about the same damn thing and then you reply anyway.

Anyone watched Batwoman yet? I have a few episodes queued up...

Really enjoyed The Mandalorian. Nice to see such a high quality show. I wasn't going to watch it but my friend convinced me to.

The first episode was pretty good - but I was super sad to see a filler episode for number 2 - it didn't do anything for the storyline that I can tell. Sure it still looked good - showed that this Mando can basically be hit by a Rhino and amazingly somehow not die, etc.
I suppose we learned one thing - when the Mando was saved.. but really - who didn't see that coming?

Yeah I think there is some merit there. It gave us more of an understanding of his personality though and how he works through things. It was nice to see that he isn't good at everything too.

I'm curious if they'll do any real work developing him in regards to the really dumb choices he made. I am hopeful that this series will be more like Rogue One in story telling and less like TLJ. But only hopeful.

Mind you I've only watched it once.. what dumb choices you talking about?
Like leaving his shuttle where Jawa's could get it, etc?

That was one. Another was going into an obvious lair with no care for stealth or proper preparation (loosening a knife in its sheath is not proper preparation). Using violence as the answer for every situation.
