      So the topic describes the issue.

      Attempting to find a decent resolution to the problem, short of shipping this thing back to Lenovo.

      If I have to I will, but looking for some pointers with the error message.

        @DustinB3403 Is the OS loaded? Any hardware RAID on it? With no onsite warranty, I'd hope it's not too important.

          @travisdh1 Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

          No RAID, single SSD installed to the laptop.

          Sales person's main laptop, the system does boot if you restart it, the issue appears to be sporadic.

            How old is the SSD, and what make/model? Could be the SSD is on the way out.

              @travisdh1 As old as the laptop is, almost 2 years old.

                Yeah, depending on the make/model of the SSD, that could be near EOL for the thing. I'd just bite the bullet and have the warranty work done on it.

                I just have to mention, stop buying Lenovo. I think you know this, so send management our way if they still insist next time.

                  @travisdh1 That is kind of what I was thinking would be the consensus.

                    I had a similar problem with a Lenovo laptop (again purchased before SuperFish). The user finally agreed to have me send it for service, no issues reported since then. It clearly had a hardware problem as I rebuild the OS at least twice before sending in for service.
