Standing Desk

Though I can't stand for extended periods due to nerve damage and now it would seem a bad ankle. I've used them and I love them. I REALLY want a walking desk, with a treadmill. But feel like I'd fall over. When I worked as an intern for the Fed, one of the ladies had one. It took a lot of red tape for her to get it in there and a lot more red tape for her to get it out when she left for DC. If you're in a cube farm, it can get kind of annoying to others. Especially to helpdesk people who are on the phone with other users. If you have a big enough office, then I wouldn't see a problem with it.

I could get away with JB's desk, but I'd require a back on my chair, a foot rest on the chair, and a foot rail under the desk.. yep I'm demanding!

I'm probably going to add one of these to the desk I built for my office:

$399 for a motorized stand that you put your desktop on.

$399 for a motorized stand that you put your desktop on.That's pretty slick! And a great price. Probably pretty easy to put into a cube situation as well. Managing cables is the concern.
