@Dashrender this is the message from my agency
Would you be interested in doing some short-term work (Rollout and standard DSE II duties) for CDS at Shell (Bank Street, London) for 2 weeks from the 3rd January?
You work for a company that contracts out IT work, correct? So there needs to be a contract in place that clearly defines what your responsibilities are and what their expectations are. It can't just be a small e-mail like that.

@wirestyle22 ok . I will send message to ask my agency duties

Wow - that's super vague. And short term? I'm guessing this is not the job for you. I'm guessing CDS is expecting someone to come in and either a) just be moving some computers around, maybe unboxing, plugging into a network, pull and image and then put on a user desktop... or b) they expect you to be a DSE II (is that really a thing in London?) and ready to create images, build Group Policies, etc.

Maybe he doesn't - he might just work for a placement company, or a temp company. Often times those companies don't care what your qualifications are, they are just sending over a warm body.

Unsure. If it's a placement company then he may need to implement his own imaging etc. We'll see what happens

@Dashrender l'm new in IT industry I can start from there

That's just it - we don't know.
I'm guessing the DSE is a Desktop Support Engineer, the II means a level 2 person, not a new to the job of Engineer person.
I don't know what a CDS is.

@jimmynelson my agency on holiday now I can't reach him now . Maybe I can send email to ask for duties
Is this one of those random emails you get from a recruiter, when you sign up on a job search site?
I would think an actual job offer would include a lot more information. -

I'm assuming a DSE is a Desktop Support Engineer.
Ah ha. I had no idea what that was

Those aren't standard terms that we know.

I only guessed that because he mentioned in the OP that he wanted to learn Rollout engineer. whatever that means.

You may be stuck finding out when you start work. Even jobs with common terms often vary so much that there is no way to guess what they will be like for day to day duties. Even desktop support can be so wildly different from place to place that no tasks might overlap.

Eh, first IT job. I still don't articulate my thoughts well on here. First and Second Domain Controller @scottalanmiller not domain. There are no primary or secondary domain controllers. Hammering this into my skull

CDS.... Corporate Data Systems?
-
Acronyms aren't universal.

If DSE is Desktop Support Engineer, then it's not standard. Support and Engineer don't go together. Support suggests ops (admin) and Engineer means the opposite. You normally have Desktop Support or Desktop Engineer.
DS supports the fleet. DE handles the setup of images, design of the desktops.

Uh..... hopefully it means more than that.
