Automating Capex workflow

We have a very basic manual workflow process for our Capex approval now. I am looking for a automated solutions where we could select the devices from the hardware catalog, add it for different offices and then get the approvals and notifications to the concerned team.
Have anyone tried it on Sharepoint or any other systems?

Have not tried it but Sharepoint would be the obvious choice.
Appian is another choice.
