          I verified it in Ubuntu just now, Mint has the Ubuntu repos, should be there, too.

            Ah, well download it with Cube from Linux Mint like the other packages then. You want it from Mint, but it has lots of dependencies, getting just the VLC files will leave you without a way to install.

              @scottalanmiller During installation I saw the VLC option in the wizard but after installation There is no VLC in it.other multimedia ask for the internet to download.
              During OS installation the Wifi Detected but after OS installation the Wifi is not working

                  I have tried with the Cube Server which needs internet to download the package from the server.I have tried the internet option for the laptop by the USB tethering option but the network iteslf not starting for the machine .Whether True OS needs to be tried as per the suggesstion of @scottalanmiller

                    If nothing else works, give it a shot. It's FreeBSD so totally different chances of working or not working.

                      @scottalanmiller i have tried to install true os in the pendrive which is not making bootable from the desktop itself. Tried to make bootable of ubuntu budgie but the vmlinux file not found is the error coming

                        Avoid Budgie, there is no way that that will help. That's the one thing that is not worth trying at all.
