I can't even

So I get asked to create a topic to discuss my posting behavior, yet I can't create a topic discussing the behavior of some really bad moderation practices on SW.
Double standard much. . .

Why is anyone putting a RAID controller into a Desktop with Windows 10 Pro?!
CAD?
Maybe. I'd guess just software RAID for that, though.

The hell... your job depends on installing Windows Server 2016 to the bare metal?!
And you are likely using FakeRAID if you haven't go into a RAID controller and configured said Array!
And Windows Installation has nothing to do with setting up the Array so the number 1 response there is full of it!
He's easily required to do that. Often these terrible ideas are forced from some "IT manager" higher up.

Even then, if his job is dependent on installing Server 2016 to the bare metal, the installation process isn't difficult, and what's worse is the conditions of the job.
There aren't places this horrendous, are there? (ignoring all of SW)

Only where the IT employees fail to properly explain things, or where managers fail to comprehend properly explained information.

Dilbert, As true today as it was in 1995:

@mike-davis That so could have been written today.

Um... how is this a difficult thing to do? Starting from somewhere if anywhere would entail resetting user passwords, setting up equipment for new users and then maybe shadowing the lead IT person.
If you can't figure out how to swap hard disks in a server and install Hyper-V, but have been tasked with doing it. You need to tell your boss you don't know what you're doing and that you need assistance.
-
@dustinb3403 Everything is difficult if you don't know what you're doing. Take it from me

But that is my point, if it is to difficult to even begin working on it (for this person), then this person shouldn't be tasked with doing it.

This post begins to make more sense the further down you read it.
But the first half is like they are recovering from a concussion. (Paragraphs, not bullet points)

I came across this at a client site today . I was so impressed I had to stop to take a picture. Looks like they were going for water tight flexible conduit.
