So back to the topic at hand....
Once I start really getting to test this out I will let you know what I think. So far I am happy with it but it has just been newly setup, so we will see how it goes.
I am in some dilemma with my devices.
I have a 6. Been happy with it. But ATT is offering a free upgrade to a 7, so I am considering it. I also have a small crack so now sure if they'll take it.
The wife has a 6 as well that was recently shattered to bits and pieces. She doesn't care to upgrade.
The 12 year old needs an iPhone. She wants rose gold. Thinking about the 6S.
So, lot of things to think about! Be curious to hear your thoughts on the 7 in the next few days as I ponder...

I think the camera is what @scottalanmiller is most interested in. He takes tons of selfies during our travels, and he's currently on the 5s, so the camera is a huge upgrade.
-
So the front camera (on the screen) hasn't changed at all in a bit... I know @scottalanmiller has the 5s so it might be a little updated from there. But there is no difference between the 6, 6+ and 7+ there.
-
Ok just looked it up on the 5s he has a 5 megapixel one on the 7 series they are a 7megapixel camera. It's the back camera that has changed

I thought that both changed? The 7+ has three cameras instead of two. Two different lenses on the front. But I thought that the reverse camera was upgraded as well.
-
Nope one lens on the front just like before and the 2 on the back. 7+ column on the left 7 on the right
-
Back camera (again 7+ on left 7 on right)
-
A big step up from my 5S, but not from the 6 I see.
-
Right.

Is everyone sitting down?
A few doctors were talking to me today and asked why I didn't have an iPhone - if I had an iPhone I'd probably be able to support them and their iPhones better.
I told them that if THEY wanted to buy me one, I would be happy to use it, but that I personally wouldn't buy one. They said they would bring it up at the next board meeting about getting me one.So who knows.. the next time you see me, I might be sporting the new iPhone 7+

That's pretty awesome!

We'll see - I have been telling them that for years... and I still don't have one. Heck I don't even have a company provided laptop. Though with that, really I just would need to order myself one. But for my job, I really don't need one - until a few weeks ago that is.
HR put out a ruling that no one could use their cell phones in clinic (excluding doctors). I forgot about it and was reading my work email in clinic while waiting on a process (OK Maybe I was on Facebook or Telegram, whatever) - my boss walks over and very loudly tells me that I'm not allowed to use my phone in clinic - new policy. I don't argue, and quickly put my phone away.
So now I'm considering getting myself an office laptop that I will take with me when I leave my office so I have something to look at while I'm at someone else's desk waiting on things.

The lack of actual home button (it's a touch thing but you have to press it hard to get it to react) is weird.
iOS 10 on a 6s is weird too. Pressing the home button does not fully unlock. It feels to me that they over corrected for the people complaining that the pushed the home button to wake their phone and the Touch ID kicked in unlocking it and making them miss their notifications..
Settings > General > Accessibility > Home Button > Touch to unlock or somesuch.

I'm trying to give it a fair go for a week or so just to make sure it is not me adjusting poorly.

I think I might have found the slowness culprit ... Mail.
It is taking up huge chunks of battery life, and when I close it, it goes from super sluggish to fine.
Hmmm, when will 10.0.2 be out?
