We do have a lot of spiders in Rochester, but there seemed to be a lot in and around the hotel.
We like to call them senior web designers.
I laughed a little too hard at that one.

The "OG's, or the 1percenters" although they outnumber humans significantly

Learned a lesson Sunday. When your vehicle is a standard, don't do the entire ship tour at the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park, and immediately drive the 350 miles home! Doing a stair step exercise routine makes shifting that much more difficult latter on.

LOL, I did 1400 miles in a standard a few months ago. Love it. Give me a standard any day, any amount of traffic, any distance.

Reminds me of driving home from the gym on "arms" day (driving a standard). It's a wonder I never ran into anything.

Generally, I'd agree with you, but I hate it in Atlanta stop & go traffic... My knees were creakier than my grandma's front door after that last trip I did.

I've done a lot of stop and go, including in hill towns and with a good car, it doesn't bother me at all.

Yeah, just imagine doing a stair step routine before heading out into that, ouch!
For anyone driving in pas Buffalo, the museum is worth a stop. Just be aware that you'll be doing a stair step exercise routine.

Lots of other museums there too. Albright Knox is pretty famous.

You say that now... Have you driving a truck with 450,000 miles on it that had a 50 pound clutch? Highway miles were fine,.. but City and hills sucked like an F5 tornado.
Oh - I guess I should say it was a commercial MACK truck so you had to have CDL (commercial Drivers License) with Air brake endorsement.

I miss driving a standard. One day when the ship comes in, I plan to have a second car with a standard.

The vehicle I want and that we have the tech to actually create today is all electric drive with an onboard generator (preferably a turbine with 1 moving part). I know of none being made tho.

They used to make these. Porsche made one in 1901, in fact. It's called "electric transmission."

Porsche in 1901? Mixing something up with that date combination? Key word is used, history doesn't really help us in the here and now.

@travisdh1 I believe this is what Scott is referring to:

Talk about a classic. Bet it accelerated like nothing else of the time.
