Saranac makes some excellent brews. Their IPAs are some of the best in the northeast.

Went to a beer fest today and tasted over 60 beers. They should have given us a check list or something to remember the beers. I had a LOT of IPAs. I had a Chocolate apple cider which was ok and a smoked apple cider which I will NEVER try again. Then we went to our bar for pool and karaoke, it was a good day!

Those sound really good! Smoked apple cider sounds right up my ally. What didn't you like about it? Chocolate apple cider, not so much.

Those sound really good! Smoked apple cider sounds right up my ally. What didn't you like about it? Chocolate apple cider, not so much.
The smoke taste was overwhelming and that was the only sample I poured out. It tasted like over smoked pork without the meat taste with some apple cider. The guy told me they actually smoke the apples and then add them to the cider brew. MEH at least there was lots of great IPAs to try.
