What Are You Doing Right Now
-
Yeah, this is pretty extreme.
-
Hey, the counter flipped to 10K!!!
-
I think that this is now the longest thread on any NodeBB platform, anywhere!
-
Yay!
-
That is pretty remarkable. I don't think I've ever seen a 10K long thread before.
-
@coliver That's probably why they made this one... Just to break the record!

This is the first one ever on NodeBB as far as we know. Just posted over on the NodeBB forum too to let people know.
-
@dafyre I was thinking that this isn't really one topic. There are hundreds of other topics interspersed on this one.

More or less. It is also a catch all so that we can always chat without cluttering other things with thread sprawl. SW did this at one point and it was a great idea. Made it easier to have a "live banter" and made the rest of the site cleaner. So it allowed for even more activity with less mess. So we adopted it here too.
-
@coliver True, true... but it's also really one big long thread of posts... Almost like the Random stuff thread, lol.

We have a similar thread over at Gamrhaus where people can just post whatever game they are playing right now. That way people can stay active, keep each other up to date, know what to talk about but don't need to start new threads and make the place a mess. Works really well.
-
Just started a similar one to talk about "Where Are You Traveling Right Now" over at the Kidding Around Europe Community.
-
None of them are busy like this one, though
-
On my way to some clients.
-
@johnhooks Better quit playing with your phone while driving!
-
Odd, i only see this thread at 9968 posts.

I know, that's why I thought that we had so many more to go before hitting the 10K mark. Not sure why the main counter flipped over when the post number seems a few short. Not sure what the logic is behind that or why it is represented in those two ways. Maybe the one is a rounding error?
-
It rounds up ... 9970 rounded up is 10k 8-)
