We made the decision today to stop testing windows updates. We will now just be using WSUS to stop feature updates we can't use yet. And make sure everyone gets the security updates.

I generally feel like this is the best course of action. Getting patches out quickly is just so valuable and important.

Just discovered that my Spiceworks profile has swapped over from the old version. I don't want the new version. I was happy being one of the last bastions of the old version. I should have heritage listed it.

Good news, it was written in my contract that ill wait for 6 months before they evaluate my performance but it's been 3 months and i already signed my evaluation form.
I am required to learn Linux. Yay! -
Good morning. It is the begin of a long holiday weekend here in the US. So ML is going to be slow tomorrow, I would assume, as many people are off celebrating.

It's 12 o'clock, the sun is shining, and I'm going home. Planning on barbecuing a joint of pork shoulder this afternoon and taking life easy with a few ice cold beers. Spending the rest of the weekend in Shakespeare's birth place, Stratford-upon-Avon.

Just went for an hour and a half walk in the rain to get some Ingress time in.
Came back to the hotel, bought a beer from the vending machine and sitting down to drink it while the rest of the family is asleep.

Where everyone is sleeping tonight. We took the girls out of school for a day trip to sight see and stay overnight in a ryokan (traditional style Japanese inn).
