@dafyre today's session is actually testing the recovery (sandbox first of course). I'll rest easier knowing that it is working. And then Thanksgiving prep. Hopefully the store still has some collard greens.
We got it easy this year. Just gotta bring the Mac & Cheese and some dinner rolls, lol.
Easy peasy. I like to put some panko on top with the last layer of cheese. Makes a nice, crunchy, melty top layer.

We are doing a big Thanksgiving down the road here in Nicaragua. An American expat and his GF are hosting a huge party. At least fifteen of us going. Going to be huge. Even getting a turkey.
Which is odd that everyone thinks that getting a turkey is going to be hard. When they are literally raised right in the village.

That's a good idea! By happy mistake a few years ago,I wound up with 2 cans of cheddar cheese soup and 2 cans of nacho cheese soup... Best ever. I may add the planko crumbs this year. That's an excellent idea!

We are starting to use MS Autopilot to deploy devices. Started with our Device image, updated, named it. got the Hardware ID and ran Sysprep.
Signed in and it picked up on the AutoPilot, installing our software (Adobe, Mitel, Chrome, Office, etc) and once all said and done - rebooted.
And that's it... died. won't boot just sits and the spinney dots. Guess I get to image it again.
Wait - you're imaging it - and then using autopilot to push software to it? Why not include that as part of your image?
Maybe each system is different. It's pretty common that images can't contain all of the necessary software because what's needed is not universal and groups aren't large enough for individual images.
We do have different models - there is an image for each model accordingly. Software is the same for each though.. Adobe Reader, Mitel, Teams, WatchGuard, ManageEngine, Trend, CarbonBlack.
The annoyance is that ME, Trend and CB all are install post Domain join.
ewwww - that sucks!
They don't have an imaging solution available?

It's only a lot of work if you're a bad shot. My family bagged a wild turkey a few years back. Best bird we ever ate.
Edit: I didn't shoot it. I am not a good shot.

Never done turkeys, but chickens are hella messy once the head is chopped off. Been years since I was around that.

I have an uncle that has worked most of his life cleaning at a chicken processing plant in the area..... not my idea of fun!

Eating them is the fun part. Catching them can definitely be work. Especially if they notice their friends go inside and not come back out, lol.

it's finally hit. a local town that up to this point had only about 4 cases of the big C has gone from 1 to 18 in 3 days.
They're shipping the real sick ones off to a hospital 3 hours away. that's where i'd end up. stuff that, i'm working remotely for a few days.

We're going to get smashed when our borders open up. -

I live super remote in the middle of nowhere. If I got sick, i'd have to go.... 20 minutes away. LOL
Screw that "first world" BS. The healthcare there seems awful. We always pick on the US, but it's not the only one that can't get its sh*t together.

We're going to get smashed when our borders open up.Only as bad as it would have been before. But with a lot of time to prepare for it.
Even with delta here, we barely notice. Impact is super low being full open.

I'm actually organizing files and folders on my admin system. So much accumulated garbage. So many powershell files/scripts scattered everywhere.

I feel your pain. I finally put all of my scripty type stuff into a repo on Gitlab.
