Finally on PTO, week off of work to get projects done at home, or at least not in the room we use as an office

Took a chill day today. Walking on the beach, drinking wine, video gaming with the kids.

Doing some writing, having some wine. The restaurant is really busy today. It's great. I can hear the tunes from my desk.

Spinning up some VMs. Much practice needs to be done with using Ansible templates.

We might have finally figured out some ongoing issues with a Ubiquiti wireless network. Phones and tablets kept dropping off the network randomly. IP/subnet/gateway/DNS were all good but couldn't ping the APs or anything behind them even tho the phones had good ip settings.

Been having a few issues at one site where laptops just drop off randomlyThey had us create a new wireless network, and disable some advanced settings: https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/221029967-UniFi-Troubleshooting-Connectivity-Issues#advanced-features Be sure to use the classic interface for that as they don't all show up in the new version yet.
