Webroot can lock down the hosts file if configured that way (and it should be). Create another group in Webroot with identical setting sans the hosts setting. Apply this to the machines, fix the hosts, and move the systems back to fully protected

                  FFS....

Nextcloud could at least link to the proper setting to add to the damned config file. Not that i want phone shit interconnected randomly to my Nextcloud instance...

FYI: That link jsut goes to wikipedia.

Yes, I assume the setting should be default_phone_region.

But that is WTF documentation is for. To be easily referenced. Why make me search the shit up.

Also oops.. somehow this got set to AJAX. Likely, a stray click by me late one evening.

This system is almost never access by the web interface.

Manually executed it 5 minutes ago.. still running..

That's not terrible problem to have in IT every now and again. My day was exactly the opposite. Ugh.

Somehow two new load balancers we were configuring turned into a routing loop and brought down almost our whole network.... Got that fixed, and then )&#$)&@ VMswear View took frickin' forever to come back up after rebooting all the things.

I'm not complaining, well maybe a little, but that sounds horrible.

Make a BAT file and on the RDS server make a local GPO using GPedit.msc

Go to user configuration -> windows -> script logoff/logon and add the path of where you saved the .bat file

                                        Contents of the BAT...

                                        rd /s c:\$Recycle.Bin /Q
