back working on site from this week, don't like it, don't like it all.
because you like working from home better? or because virus is running rampant there?
i much prefer working from home, more comfortable, better lighting, better seating, cleaner, less disruptive.
I like working from home better too, overall... But there's one thing that is a disadvantage. My office was busy before all this covid crap happened. For the last 7 months, it has been nothing but managed chaos with the amount of @&*#$)&@#$ we've had going on.

Just back from the walk.

Yeah. There comes a time when you need to go into conservation mode and begin to protect yourself, I don't mean literally, I mean, just come to the realisation that it may not be possible to complete all the work that needs to be done, realise that it may be time to stop the 10 hours days, as there is so much work that all you can see in the future is 10 hour days.
(how's that for a sentence that goes for a paragraph
(how's that for closing a bracketed comment with a smiley face -

"Please Whitelist this email address for this user"
Hmmmmm, not blocked for other users......
Looked in his personal block list, and what do I find?"I removed it from his personal block list that he manually added. Try again."
The thing I find more interesting is - who is acting as a go between? I hope it's the helpdesk, otherwise, why can't the user contact you directly?
Local IT.
aka Helpdesk for the remote location, not our Corporate helpdesk.
Only myself, coworker, and CIO have full rights to the spam gateway. -
Just ordered a Ksger T12 soldering station. thought sod it need a smaller iron to do SMD work and my current one the smallest tip it takes is the size of a SMD component.
Should be with me in 2 - 3 weeks.

Great comic. I read it weekly.
I catch it every update. I only read 3-4 regularly. My daily list used to be larger but they've either ceased, like Schlock Mercenary, or I've lost the bookmarks over time/pc upgrades. These days, it's Goblins, Devil's Panties, Grrl Power, and Questionable content. I think my list used to be around 15 at one point.

Just went for a short morning walk.

I just started GrrlPower -- thanks for the recommendation whoever posted it, lol. But I also have read QC as well. I need to catch up on that one, for sure.

D&D night just wrapped.

Drinking coffee while waiting for a client meeting and listening to the radio.

Our little puppy, Clive, was finally big enough to sleep in the bed last night. He's still tiny, but big enough to not get rolled over on now. He's a much happier dog today now that he had snuggles all night.

How dare you post about a puppy and not put up photos!

I'm sure there's been at least one or ten in the thread in the last 3 or 4 months, lol.
I don't remember what kind of dog Clive is, but I hope he gets big and/or smart enough to be a good protector of the family!

Clive isn't even that old. That was Lula, our 12 year old Boston Terrier that needed adoption. She's been adopted twice, but both times failed. Looking for a home for her. She's so sweet and affectionate, but can't handle kids or other dogs - so really needs like a senior couple with their own house.

My wife and I keep thinking we want a dog, but neither of us wants the responsibility of the upkeep, just like kids. No one [in this house] has time for that. Too busy with important things like an afternoon nap.

Lula is a full time napper, she's 12. She'd nap anytime. If you wanted her, I'd drive her up on Monday. She needs very little other than "humans around" and "not a lot of other activity." lol She likes to nap near you or with you, she plays tug with me for like five minutes a day tops, that's like it. She's super chill.

Follow up "interview" with the MSP. Bad news is I did not get the position but got a ton of excellent feedback from the owner of the company (who I've known for well over 10 years now)
