Which one? We own all the Sonic Racing games. They are awesome.
Not sure it's one that you get for free. Will have to look once I go back on (when the switch charges up)

Doing a pros and cons about using Syncthing instead of Nextcloud for home.

What aspects of gaming do you like? I love point and click adventure games that tell a story.
I'll answer that by saying that in the last 20 years I've played Monster Truck Madness and Age of Empires 1, (didn't know there was a 2). That's it.
I've played most of my games on VGA screens.
Try Civ6, or Civ5, or really any of the Civilization games. They're turn-based, giving you plenty of time to think and plan, and you can save at any time to go back to it later. Civ is also the only game to have a song that's won a Grammy (performed best here: https://youtu.be/B1cjW3rGSvg?t=24). There's no storyline, which you did request, so try Stardew Valley. You write your own narrative, and it is timed. You get a mechanic to pause at any point, but the days are very specific and the tasks to be done are well laid out. You can pause/save and return to any point or restart days.
Part of the AoE3 genre of RTS Isolinear games is Age of Mythology. It has a storyline, and is like AoE3, but with gods. Fun!
Factorio is good, also isolinear. No story. It requires that you pay attention and plan. This is a good game if you like running cable since there are belts in your factory. So. Many. Belts. Try the free demo; it's like 500mb or something ridiculous.
Tropico (4/5/6) is loads of fun and the latest one has lots of humor that you'll love if you hate the current president. I like it. The graphics are good, the tutorial is great, and a loose story-line is maintained. It also has a good theme track, though it does get tiresome after being a little too repetitive.
I've been playing a lot of UBOAT lately. It's capable of being played in the first person view, though I spend a lot of time on the map. It's in early release so look for changes, but I find it very distracting. I'm looking forward to changes that will make it more difficult. Thanks for all the info Grey, much appreciated.
I sat down and had a crack at playing Age of Empires and I think Civilisation on Saturday arvo with a few beers.
Nope. it's not going to happen, zero patience, couldn't be bothered, just felt like a waste of time sitting on my own not interacting with people around me.
thanks anyway.

Doing a tablet install today. Wish me luck?
lolIf this requires luck, seems like something is overly complicated.

FML.Where are you trying to adapt it to? Where will the controller software live for this install? I'm assuming that this AP will be on the private network, assuming you're still doing that?

It's amazing all the meetings you do with big vendors who were clearly not prepared for people to work effectively from home.
People trying to do really silly things like use RingCentral as a soft phone and can't make needed calls because they are already in meetings on their computer all of the time.
This is why you have desk phones and soft phones on your cell phones, people! We can make so many calls at once, using the business infrastructure. Even the tiniest of companies can and should have this stuff. It's so cheap.
