Watching Linux Academy videos during lunch. Makes me want to just go home and continue training
What are you watching?
There's a new (shorter) RHCSA course that was released in April. I decided to go through that one, and just finished the LVM video. Since I had started and stopped the one made by Anthony, I figured I'd start new with the one and see how much I can remember.
I did Vim masterclass with Linux Academy. It was really good.

I've been poking around RHCSA material off and on for a year. It's time to get get the cert done, and move on to bigger and better things.

That was probably my favorite class that I have taken recently. It was difficult in the beginning, but you have to stick it out and learn the finger memory. Learning vim is alot like learning to type for the first time. Difficult and annoying until you are able to start doing it without thinking then its worth every second you spent learning.

Getting laundry done for my trip.
I just got home last night from a week in St Louis......

We finally got the mastered version of our new album over the weekend... I'd be lying if I said I didn't shed a tear upon the first listen. Stay tuned for streaming and download links (we're still sorting out the artwork, might be a minute).

Sitting at a sports bar with the wife as she is talking out loud about how many ads and pop-ups were on a site she was looking at. She turned to me and said "now I see why you have that ad blocker running at home (pihole) and it makes a huge difference"! At least she noticed.

Hey g'day mate, was just thinking I'd not seen you around here for a while, but I don't spend alot of time here I must admit.
Heading over your way in fact, leaving Coober Pedy SA on the Anne Beadell Hwy to Laverton WA, then into Surveyor General's Corner. Back home via Uluru, Simpson Desert, Birdsville and back south down the B'ville track.

Way to early to be alive.

Psh, I'm walking to the train station at 5:15 every morning! It's not so bad once you're outside, but getting to that point sucks. Especially when it's hard to go to bed before 11-midnight.

I'm with ya. I'm at work by 5:15 and bed time is normally 10:45'ish. The good part is, we get a nice full day to get work done.
