XOCE installer updates, disabling a banner and testing.
Also looking into lpadmin and cups to see if I can set a few options, in particular "print to store" as we're wanting to change a few things with how our printers are setup.

Dealing with an annoying morning so far (can't fix problems when I'm still en route to my cube with my laptop inside my backpack). Hopefully the day will get better

Think that's on the "Fast Ring" i've opted for the "Slow" for now. Might change to the latest towards the end of the week depending how the next few days go.
*Already changed to Fast Ring. So i can try Windows Sandbox

That's what they get for making staff commute for no reason!

waiting for a customer to get to the site, So i can suggest calling a cabling company that's local to them .
They need the wall jack replaced for their outside terminal.
It would be expensive for us to go up there to replace a jack- less than an hour of work. -

That's what they get for making staff commute for no reason!
That's the truth. In my 1.25 years here, I think I've actually needed to leave my cube to fix something maybe 5 times.

I just updated to this version. The banner is an eyesore for sure and eats screen space for no real good reason. They should have added it to the splash warning when you first login or something. I understand that it was a problem about where to receive support, but what I imagined from reading the forums was nothing like what they actually implemented.

Take a look at the install script on my GH account, there is a fix applied there.

Well, you get the idea.
On the plus side, our CxO's finally saw the light and decided to NOT replace this printer. So now they're going to make everyone walk to one side of the building or the other to get their printouts. -

Saw the light?
Seems way less efficient to make people go and fetch their prints on the other side of the building. . .
