Mine is working on Windows 8.1 and hasn't skipped a beat in the week and a half that I've been using it.
It has no provisioning for updates via proxy server, so I have no idea if there has been an update.
@Rick-Vanover was no proxy update intentional or something for the roadmap? -

Today is a get ready for UK day. Getting my nails done (yes this is an important part of getting ready guys). Meetings with a GroveSocial client and meeting with Unitrends to talk about cool things.
Then off to watch a band practice with @art_of_shred, they are trying out a new singer tonight.
