Have a 4K video on my Plex server (a VM running off of a Dell R710 server). It is transcoding across my network. It kept buffering and freezing, saying the plex server is not powerful enough to play the video.
closes eyes and shakes head and smiles
Me: "Challenge accepted."
A couple more CPU cores later, and it's fixed!

Heh. I did fail the quiz, but I haven't done any review in the last week, and I was curious to see how well I'd do cold (failure is below 80% on a quiz). They did respond quick on Twitter. Apparently some kind of update went wrong with their site. Site is back online now.

just got roused due to echo on the admin lines ... I'm going back to bed... Admin is non-critical and dealt with differently than 911 calls.... call routing at this hour in my mind starts to hurt... but - admin calls don't go through the selective router, they're handled locally so likely have to deal with the telco business office..
it's to morning for this...

Last night me , my boss, and another tech were troubleshooting an issue where odd number terminals talked, and even number terminals talked but did not talk all the way through the system.
I'm beyond lost cause everything is set up correctly, can connect to everything through our Command Center but it's still not up.
Tried everything we can think of and were leaning towards it being more of a Windows issues rather than an Aloha issue. -

He does call routing for 911 systems.
