On the Windows / Mac side I love Sibelius. No Sibelius for Linux, but Musescore has been good on Linux.

I've found that when I setup rules to auto-filter stuff, I tend to never check those folders. I suppose I could try again and be more disciplined.

I've struggled with that in the past as well. Most of it comes down to having the computer sort things out for me, and highlight the important things to look at in certain places in addition to just sorting each thing into the proper place.
The nightly backup reports are a good example right now. Every tech at the company gets all the backup reports. They all get moved to a subfolder, and another rule flags the ones that I need to personally look at every day.

Just got into the office after the conference, everyone wanted stories and nothing to do with what was learned...
SO I told them what I had learned! LOl
Getting ready for an install / go live for a site today. Last minute set ups and testing before loading up. -
Back to the hotel after the morning walk/run @Dashrender made me do.
checking in on shit before heading over to the conference center to get my badge.
Then off to find lunch or something by then.
