Getting tickets the whole day in steady pace, seems to be awesome.

Finally closed a ticket that was opened for a doctor who was trying to access the spam filter from home and couldn't access it. Gave no information and wouldn't call me from home to troubleshoot. Couldn't close the ticket because I couldn't confirm that it wasn't a problem until now.

Looking at my desk top, Working on a ticket and I see that i have a warning on the internet in the bottom right.
Apparently I am connected to the network, but i have no internet access. But Im on ML.. and on our tickets and can search and surf the web with no issues..
Even my computer thinks its Monday.I had this issue with my pihole. For some reason it started blocking the MS domain that needed access for this to work. I had to go in and whitelist it and everything situated itself.
Weird. Honestly there is no issue with my Internet or connectivity ( I mean.. Im on ML right now.. And have 4 tabs open in my browser .. all of which havent dropped off or lost connectivity. )
I just thought it would give someone a laugh like it did me. -

The fastest way to get hold of somebody who is having an issue is to close the ticket. They get a 5 day grace period here before we close a ticket due to inactivity.

I fail to understand why more places don't. If you're trying to get hold of somebody and you can't... Don't waste any more time than you have to. If they're still having the issue, then close the ticket and when they call about it, just reopen it.

We should have a policy about that
But we just move it to "waiting on user" so it clocks against the user.
